Telx Adds Colo Space in San Francisco
Makes Fourth Expansions in Six Months
09/09/2008
Interconnection company Telx has acquired 6,000 square feet of colocation space at 200 Paul St. in San Francisco, enabling it to accommodate more than 200 cabinet equivalents. This acquisition marks Telx’s fourth expansion in just six months, totaling more than 46,000 square feet of new space. New York City’s 60 Hudson St. and 111 Eighth Ave., and Chicago’s 350 E. Cermak St. facilities were added earlier this year. According to Gartner analyst Lydia Leong, the San Francisco Bay Area is one of the tightest data center colocation markets. Meanwhile, TeleGeography noted that San Francisco is the second largest market for colocation in the United States, after New York. Related Article: Telx Expands Data Center in Chicago
