Report Names BlackBerry Storm 2 Release Date

It’s looking more and more like Verizon’s move to cut the price of the BlackBerry Storm to just $50 was indeed a precursor to the release of the Storm 2.

The popular Storm didn’t take long to sell out when it was released last fall. Now, a new report – coming from a supposedly leaked document – says the updated version of the device will be available Oct. 14. There’s no official word yet from the company.
