xchange Presents the Best of WiMAX World USA 2007 Awards
xchange is pleased to announce the Best of WiMAX World USA Awards
winners with a special presentation at the WiMAX
World USA Conference & Expo on Sept. 26 in Chicago. Produced
by xchange and Trendsmedia,
producer of WiMAX World Conference & Expos, the awards recognize
the leaders in the development and deployment of WiMAX technologies.
Nominations were open to exhibitors, sponsors and presenters at
the conference, held Sept. 25-27. The WiMAX World Digital Cities
Deployment category was open to exhibitors, sponsors and presenters
at both the WIMAX World and DigitalCities conferences.
This year, the awards program received more than 80 submissions,
double that of the previous year, illustrating that WiMAX is emerging
as an increasingly important technology for the continued growth
of innovative service provider delivery models. An independent
panel of judges determined the best of the WiMAX community in seven
categories, including the finalist for the Industry Choice Award.
This unique award was chosen by the delegates at the WiMAX World
USA Conference & Expo and represents the company among the
17 finalists they view as having made the most significant contribution
to the WiMAX community this year.
This year’s subject matter experts judging
panel includes James Farstad, founder and president, rClient, LLC;
Adlane Fellah, CEO and founder, Maravedis Inc.; Caroline Gabriel,
research director, Rethink Research Associates; Michael Khalilian,
chairman and president, IMS Forum; Philip Marshall, vice president,
wireless/mobile technologies, Yankee Group; Craig Mathias, principal,
