TravelCenters of America Taps AT&T, V-Link Solutions to Launch Hotspots

AT&T Corp. and V-Link Solutions are helping the largest travel center network in the U.S. launch a new high-speed wireless Internet service called TA SpeedZone.

TravelCenters of America (TA) is partnering with AT&T and V-Link Solutions to offer a network of Wi-Fi hotspots that will provide wireless broadband access for vacationers, RVers, professional drivers and business travelers.

V-Link will build, manage and support the hotspots; AT&T will provide its Integrated Network Connection Service.

TA Speedzone is available at more than 40 TA locations, and TravelCenters of America expects all 125 company-owned travel centers, as well as several franchises, to be equipped with wireless broadband access by July 3.
