Mobile Mark Offers New Wi-Fi/WiMAX Surface Mount Antenna

Mobile Mark (Booth 423) is introducing a new mobile line of miniature roof/surface mount antennas. The MRM Series antennas are available for wireless applications from 2.4GHz through 6GHz. Applications include Wi-Fi, muni-Wi-Fi, WiMAX, public safety (4.9GHz) and DSRC (5.9GHz).
The MRM Series antennas are small — measuring only 1.35 inches high by 1 inch in diameter — for deployments where space is limited or discrete presence is required. Despite the small size, the antenna gain ranges from 2dBi at 2.4GHz to 3dBi at 5GHz.
They also are available in a variety of colors, including black, white, red and gray, to blend into any environment. The radome is made from high-impact ABS plastic and will resist damage from hits or vandalism.
For vehicular applications, the antenna mounts easily to a roof, trunk or bulkhead through a half-inch hole. It also can be mounted to any flat metal surface for fixed applications. Standard cable length is 12 inches of lowloss RF-195 cable, but can be supplied with longer leads and terminates with a SMA-plug.
