Cramer Snags New Customers

05/16/2006

Cramer, a developer of OSS software, said at TeleManagement World in France this week that France’s Completel and Sweden’s Teracom, a broadcast television and radio operator, both have deployed the Cramer6 OSS Suite.

Completel is using Cramer’s software to offer triple-play services. The company offers fiber-based telecom services to enterprises, government and wholesale carriers.

“Building on our success in delivering world-class business telecommunications services, Completel is now poised to embark on an entirely new venture – the delivery of value-added IP-based services,” said Brian Nolan, CIO of Completel. “The subscriber volumes we anticipate meant that we needed to implement a highly scalable, triple-play OSS solution.”

Meanwhile, Sweden’s Teracom also has chosen to install Cramer6 OSS Suite to manage network inventory requirements for its deployment of voice, Internet and video offerings.

Teracom is owned by the Swedish government and is a provider of terrestrial broadcast and broadband services to public service television and radio, as well as Swedish commercial television.

Cramer6 OSS Suite will consolidate numerous legacy systems onto one platform across all of Teracom’s networks.
