Allot Debuts NetXplorer

Allot Communications today at NCTA launched NetXplorer, a management tool that lets users view network usage.

NetXplorer works with Allot's NetEnforcer devices. It uses one GUI to deliver network analysis for real-time and short-term network troubleshooting or for understanding long-term trend and usage patterns, the company said.

"For service providers, NetXplorer delivers the visibility and tools that provide traffic and subscriber information and control in broadband networks, which is particularly important in controlling operation costs, reducing subscriber churn, increasing average revenue per user and providing new, differentiated services,” said CEO Yigal Jacoby. "For enterprises, it provides network visibility that extends beyond the infrastructure and enables the linking of business policies to specific network actions, which is particularly important for managers to ensure mission-critical applications and contain network costs."
