Global Internetworking Turns up Miami Hub

10/12/2005

Wholesale service provider Global Internetworking Inc. (GII) at the COMPTEL show announced it has turned up a new network hub in Miami.

The hub expands GII’s carrier-neutral telecom services for enterprises, carriers and service providers operating in Latin America and other international telecommunications markets.

GII is providing carrier-neutral interconnection services and conversion of E1 (2mbps) service commonly used outside the U.S. to the DS1 standard (1.54mbps).

In addition to the new Miami Hub, Global Internetworking also has hubs in New York and Los Angeles.

"Customer demand prompted us to establish the Miami Hub and expand our portfolio of services in the U.S., Europe and Asia to Latin America," explains Todd Vecchio, Global Internetworking's president. “Through the new Miami hub, as a facilities-neutral network solutions provider we are able to offer the Latin American and other international markets maximum flexibility and vendor diversity while reducing the costs of entering new U.S. markets."
