Vertek Announces Managed Financial Assurance Program

Vertek Corp. (Booth 1009) is introducing a suite of hosted financial assurance solutions. The tools help integrated communications companies better understand and manage the details of their services and revenue costs.

The privately held professional services firm says its Managed Financial Assurance Program (MFAP) combines data processing, analytic tools and user reporting applications, with specialized, managed care support tailored to the needs of carriers’ businesses.

Because companies often cannot or do not want to devote large quantities of time installing, operating and administering applications for complex bill reconciliation, MFAP delivers invoice processing, cost management, and revenue assurance software in a hosted and managed monthly services format.

Vertek says the program’s back-end technology is designed for rapid configuration, scalability and extension to acquire, read and analyze multiple disparate operational data streams.

MFAP’s reporting and analytics module is a custom Web interface that users can access whenever, wherever. The tool allows communications providers to review their current and past monthly carrier invoices; evaluate the status of charges that MFAP has validated and directed for dispute; and identify substantiated charges for payment.

MFAP further performs detailed mapping and comparison of the invoice data against the company’s own monthly billing, delivering information concerning billing discrepancies, matching cost-to-revenue fallout and providing margin analysis.
