CompTel To Hold Board Elections

CompTel will elect a new board of directors at its annual membership meeting this afternoon.

In addition to the nominations sent to the association by the September deadline, additional names will be accepted from the floor. Members today will elect 27 directors: nine from the large member category (annual revenue above $300 million); nine from the medium member category (annual revenue between $25 and $300 million); and nine from the small member category (annual revenue under $25 million).

Of the 27 directors elected, 14 will serve a one-year term, and 13 will serve a two-year term. After the election, the directors will draw lots to determine the length of their terms.

While the CompTel board seat is held by the member company, all nominations must indicate the name of the company representative who will serve on the board.
