Koncept USA Unveils Gateway, Net Phone

Koncept USA unveiled two new products, the InfiNET MMG1000 Multi Media Gateway and InfiNETKW200 NetPhone, at the Internet Telephony Conference & Expo in Los Angeles.

Koncept USA says its InfiNET MMG1000 Multi Media Gateway is a WiFi VoIP solution that integrates existing PBX equipment and data networks. The InfiNET MMG1000 standards-based gateway combines PSTN access, VoIP, router, firewall and 802.11b wireless technologies in a single package.

The InfiNET MMG1000 integrates with existing key or PBX systems, routing calls over the Internet. It can connect up to four central office lines to the system and routes these lines for outgoing local or long-distance calling, allows up to four Ethernet LAN connections, and is a full function WiFi router with firewall, according to the company.

The InfiNET Multi Media Gateway has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $249.95.

The company says its new InfiNETKW2000 802.11b standards-based Netphone offers the mobility of cell, the cost of VoIP, free on-net calling and worldwide telephone access. The KW2000 also boasts built-in “site survey” function to locate WiFi access points, integrated phone book and caller ID among other features.

The InfiNET WiFi Netphone has a MSRP of $199.95.
