Yahoo! Fires CFO Jorgensen

Carol Bartz, Yahoo! Inc.’s (YHOO) new CEO, is making good on her promise to reorganize the struggling search engine. The latest casualty? CFO Blake Jorgensen.

Yahoo! gave no reason for cutting Jorgensen loose. Jorgensen will remain at Yahoo! during the so-called transition period. Transition to whom we don’t yet know.

Yahoo! President Susan Decker resigned in January when Bartz’s appointment was announced; her photo and biography are still on the Yahoo! Web site, however.
