Yahoo! Snags Mobile Search Deal with Virgin

The mobile search wars continue apace with the latest coup coming from Yahoo!, which is in an ongoing battle with Google Inc. to dominate the industry niche. Yahoo! has inked a deal with Virgin Media to have OneSearch power Virgin Mobile’s new mobile portal in Britain.

The deal with Virgin Mobile gives Yahoo! exposure to 4.4 million U.K. users.
