Wireless Growth to Slow Down
08/11/2008
A new report says the growing number of wireless subscribers may actually slow down in the next five years. The reason ─ market saturation. The survey, conducted by Jupiter Research, expects U.S. carriers will add only 26 million new subscribers by 2013. Nearly one in three parents say their children ages 10 to 12 already have cell phones. That’s been one of the fastest-growing age groups for wireless companies to target in the past. You can find complete findings of the Jupiter report, including information about data plans, on their Web site. Source Jupiter Research Wireless Subscriber Forecast
