What ‘Open’ Really Means; Maybe Sprint Knows

As the CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment Conference in San Francisco gets started, the word “open” is becoming trendy. What does it really mean? It depends on with whom you are speaking.

Sprint may have the answer. The phone giant plans to talk a lot about its open strategy for the mobile Web at the conference. Sprint believes it give people what they want without creating handset problems. Time will tell.
