Verizon Business Ups Security for Partners

Verizon Business has added a tool to its Partner Security Program that merchants and service providers can use to make sure they’re complying with payment card industry data security standards.

On top of that, users can get reports that tell them how – or whether – partners are abiding by the standard, issued by the PCI Security Standards Council.

Kerry Bailey, vice president of Verizon Business Security Solutions, said today's global business models bring growth, but "they also introduce risk. Our program helps companies address these issues and meet their business imperative of securing the extended enterprise.”
