Verimatrix Lands $20M in Funding

Pay TV content security company Verimatrix Inc. today announced completion of a round of funding that landed it $20 million.

The funding will help fuel the firm’s business expansion and accelerate deployment of its products in hybrid, cable and satellite markets worldwide, according to the company.

Verimatrix says its solutions offer a layered content security system that enables transparent delivery of content to multiple screens across different networks.

JK&B Capital, Goldman Sachs and SunAmerica Ventures participated in the Series C round of funding.
