tw telecom Hit With Lower Ratings, Stocks Fall

tw telecom (TWTC) shares fell to their lowest point in more than a year when Citigroup on Tuesday downgraded ratings for the company.

Standard & Poor’s maintained its ‘hold’ recommendation, while Merriman Curhan changed its rating to ‘neutral’ from ‘buy.’

The investment banks’ actions came after tw telecom made a late-night SEC filing warning of slower sales.
