Switch and Data Opens Web MarketPlace

Data center provider Switch and Data has introduced Web MarketPlace. The tool lets customers market their services and search for partners within the community of Switch and Data’s 900 customers, in the company’s 34 North American sites. The site searches for providers, potential customers and partners by name or by service; connects with the correct business contact for product information and pricing for each location; allows users to manage their company profile, contact information and add promotions via a custom field; and includes IM contact information to facilitate real-time interactivity. Switch and Data invited customers to beta-test Web MarketPlace at the end of 2007. More than 200 customers have signed on since then.
