Software Update Should Cure iPhone Ailments

If you’ve been suffering from dropped calls and bad Internet links on your new iPhone, there could be a reason. A new report says an Infineon chip may be to blame.

The new study by research firm Nomura says faulty software on the chip is giving some users fits. Apple (APPL) plans to resolve the situation with a software update.
