Progress Software Touts Space Communications

Nice, France — Progress Software Corp. will have its head in the clouds at this year’s Management World. The company will lead a presentation about space communications from 4-5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6.

The presentation will show how future satellite communications will be managed by policy-based management and TM Forum solution frameworks. It will describe:

• The rising demand for interoperability and effective management of overarching services with mission sensitive transport frameworks
• How the main goal of the international Cross-Service Provider Catalyst is to design an operation-oriented management solution that focuses on high level policies
• What the Operation Scenario is and that in order to best showcase functional areas, an international cross-organization operation scenario is created

Progress Software will also participate in two catalysts with a team of system integrators and suppliers. The teams will take a collaborative approach to devising a solution that culminates in a series of live demonstrations.
