Do Operators Need Partners for Broadband Services?

As service providers strive to create new and enhanced broadband services, is it a good idea to go it alone?

One Yankee Group analyst contends that partnership is paramount in such operators’ efforts, enabling them to increase the penetration of services ― including wholesale offerings ― delivered over fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks.

Because they are costly to build from scratch, these fiber-rich networks bring with them a need to speed revenue returns.
