One Communications Delivers DSL, Ethernet Over Copper (EoC)

CLEC One Communications said on Tuesday it will use Zhone Technologies Inc.’s Multi-Service Access Platform to deliver voice, first-mile Ethernet over copper (Eoc) and tiered DSL business services throughout 16 states.

Executives for One Communications said the platform for delivery of DSL and Ethernet over copper lets them provision core services while maintaining network agility. Another plus, they said, is they’ll be able to offer networked content and “future-proof” business services.

One Communications serves SMBs in the northeast, mid-Atlantic and upper Midwest.
