NYPSC OK’s Verizon FiOS Grounding Fix -- With Tweaks

Verizon Communications Inc. (VZ) won’t be grounded for long by its electrical problems with FiOS in New York.

The company got the green light from the New York Public Service Commission for its plans to fix FiOS grounding issues. However, the PSC did tweak the plan a bit, for example, requiring Verizon to fix identified grounding problems in 10 as opposed to 60 days.
