NTT America Names New COO, Creates Enterprise Solutions Business Unit

NTT America has appointed Kazuhiro Gomi as the company’s chief operating officer, effective June 1. Gomi also is charged with leading the newly created Enterprise Solutions Business Unit (ESBU). The new unit will offer integrated, managed IT infrastructure solutions to enterprise customers, leveraging a full service line-up and the combined expertise of the company, according to NTT America.

The new business unit will play a leading role in NTT Communications’ ongoing expansion in the U.S. market, including additional network infrastructure and new data center capacity.

In addition to his new role as COO, Mr. Gomi continues to lead the Global IP Network business unit and retains his role as chief technology officer of NTT America.
