Back to the Future: NSN Launches 3G/4G Mobile Backhaul Unit

Good for yesterday, better for tomorrow, but alas no DeLorean in sight. Nokia Siemens Networks this week announced a “futureproof” mobile backhaul solution that can handle traditional telephony along with today’s spiky 3G data traffic and the floodgates-are-opening packet overload that’s expected once WiMAX and LTE 4G networks go live.

The NSN FlexiHybrid is a new indoor unit in NSN’s microwave portfolio that supports both Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet.
