Nortel, Qwest Lead Tuesday's Telecom Stock Plunge

Telecom stocks tumbled along with the rest of the market Tuesday, as the Dow closed down more than 500 points.

Nortel (NT) lost 11 percent of its value, as did Qwest (Q). Ericsson (ERIC) dropped 10 percent.

Nokia (NOK) was among the few that escaped the day unscathed. Shares of Nokia broke even.
