NCTA Calls Out Verizon

Some harsh words for Verizon (VZ). Kyle McSlarrow, president and CEO of the National Cable & Telecommunications Association, tells the FCC that Verizon is wrong when it argues the interactice tru2way platform is “incompatible” with the telco’s FiOS platform. The NCTA agreed on many points made in Verizon’s latest filing on interoperability, but it rejected the company’s opinion that digital televisions with tru2way middleware block innovation.
