NAB President Delivers ‘State of the Industry’

NAB ― In his opening keynote at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, NAB President and CEO David Rehr delivered the “state of the industry.”

Rehr called changes in radio and television “exciting” but “seem[ingly] unsettling.” He told attendees that the world’s economic crisis “isn’t stopping [the industry].”

Rehr believes “broadcasters are forging ahead, spurring innovation and creating multiple platforms to deliver content.” He said it will be important for them to take control of their future.
