Research: Global Telecom Revenue Headed Sky High

Despite a struggling economy in the U.S. and in many parts of the world, a new study predicts global telecom revenue will hit $2 trillion by the end of the year. That’s up nearly 8 percent, according to research firm Gartner. The Asian telecom market is a big reason for the positive forecast. Later this year, Asia is expected to surpass North America in total revenue for the first time.
