FCC Order Details New VoIP E911 Rules
10/28/2008
The FCC has issued an order required VoIP providers to offer E911 services to all customers. The rules actually were part of the NET 911 Improvement Act, which became law in July. First responders need “last known call” data to determine which public safety officials should help a caller.
