FairPoint Taps Radialpoint for Managed Security

FairPoint Communications (FRP) has contracted Radialpoint to provide its U.S. Internet customers with six managed security services.

The services include Virus Protection, Spyware Protection, Firewall, Parental Controls, PC Optimizer and Phishing Protection.

Branded under the FairPoint Communications name, the FairPoint Security Suite will be available starting Jan. 31.

Radialpoint’s services are available to more than 20 million broadband subscribers worldwide through its wholesale customers, which include Bell Aliant, Bell Canada, TELUS and Vidéotron in Canada; AT&T/BellSouth and Verizon in the U.S.; and, ONO, and Virgin Media in Europe.
