Eltek Valere: Helping Green Telecom With Better Power

”Going green” talk generally centers on environmental friendliness, but the reality is that companies look to green tech to help them save money. Power equipment maker Eltek Valere says it’s doing just that for its communications industry customers.

The firm – created with the pairing of Norway-based Eltek and Texas-based Valere – says it now has DC power systems that provide up to 96 percent efficiency, a jump over previous versions of its products.

An Eltek Valere executive told Telephony that ROI happens in about two years.
