Qwest Named Top EXPO Marketer at COMPTEL

10/15/2008

Public relations and marketing firm Jaymie Scotto & Associates has announced Qwest Wholesale Markets as its top pick for JS&A Top EXPO Marketing Awards. This award was presented to Qwest at last week’s COMPTEL PLUS Fall 2008 Conference & EXPO in Orlando. The award recognizes the top three trade show exhibitors who have creatively promoted their booth presence to the COMPTEL PLUS' targeted marketplace.

Qwest was selected from more than 115 exhibitors based on the amount of marketing credits the company accrued before and during the trade show. Qwest earned these points by hosting a charity event at their booth to help support Nemours Children’s Clinic in Orlando. The company also promoted its show presence in e-mails, Web pages, press releases and other creative marketing and communications initiatives.

“JS&A is pleased to recognize Qwest for their creative and meaningful marketing efforts,” states Jaymie Scotto, Principal of JS&A. “I am sure the children and families who benefit from Nemours’ Children’s Clinic’s care are also grateful. Additionally Qwest’s efforts, as well as other top COMPTEL EXPO marketers, help increase the overall profile of the exhibit floor, turning the EXPO into a robust marketplace for buying and selling telecom products and services.”

JS&A also recognized Intermetro Communications and DCA Services for their outstanding marketing efforts, ranking them second and third respectively.
