Comcast Expands Domination in Bay Area

Comcast (CMCSA) has just shelled out $15 million for a municipal cable operation in California.

The city of Alameda serves nearly 10,000 video customers. This expands Comcast’s footprint in the San Francisco Bay Area, where it is already the dominant cable provider.
