Clearwire, Sprint May Close WiMAX Deal Soon

Clearwire (CLWR) may be able to close its deal with Sprint (S) by the end of the year. That’s according to Clearwire CFO John Butler. The two companies announced their cooperation this past May. They’re creating a nationwide provider of WiMAX services. Google and Intel have agreed to invest in the project.
