Best Buy’s Speakeasy Debuts Bundled Business Services

10/07/2008

Best Buy (BBY) company Speakeasy has launched business services bundles including Internet voice, data and managed services.

Called Speakeasy ONE, Best Buy said the bundles provide savings over traditional telecom services and up to 20 percent savings over Speakeasy’s ala carte options.

The SpeakeasyONE Small Office bundle includes DSL broadband and voice services and is intended for companies of up to 20 employees. The package incorporates four Hosted Voice (VoIP) seats or Integrated Voice business phone lines (for those with existing telecom equipment), a toll free number with directory listings, auto attendant and unlimited domestic calling ($279, flat monthly fee).

SpeakeasyONE Office, intended for companies of up to 30 employees, offers two packages: a broadband T1 and voice services bundle or broadband T1 and managed services bundle, both with guaranteed uptime. With the voice services package, companies receive six hosted seats or Integrated Voice business phone lines, unlimited domestic long distance, and such added features as voice mail, an auto attendant and a toll-free number with directory listings. With the managed services option, customers receive a dedicated server and network backup services, plus dedicated customer support (a $579 flat monthly fee).

For businesses of up to 30 employees, the SpeakeasyONE Office Plus bundle provides broadband, voice and managed services in a single package. This bundle combines all of the voice, broadband and managed-services features found in both versions of SpeakeasyONE Office, plus automated monitoring services and firewall. This package offers a complete small office solution (a $879 flat monthly fee).

Seattle-based Speakeasy is one of the nation's leading broadband VoIP, data and IT service providers. It was acquired by Best Buy in April 2007.
