Bad Economy Means More VoIP Adoption
01/19/2009
More and more, people are viewing next-gen applications like VoIP as financial saviors in a recession. To wit, one analyst recently predicted that VoIP adoption will “surge” in 2009. "The stock market crash has effectively pulled in the VoIP growth curve by 6-12 months or more,” Don Witt wrote in an article for TMC. “VoIP sales may increase by 200-300 percent over previous forecasts. Thus, next year's VoIP growth can be expected to jump from 4 percent to 8 percent or 12 percent or more next year." We all need some good news right now, so let’s hope Witt is right.
