Avaya to Unveil Core Application Server

Avaya is reportedly retrofitting the technology it got as part of the Ubiquity Software deal into an application server to address corporate, as opposed to telco, networks.

That’s the word from Network World, which reports that Avaya is readying a core SIP server for 2009 that companies and ISVs can use for presence, voice and other business applications.
