Clear Rate Deploys Taqua 7000
11/13/2007
Clear Rate Communications has deployed the Taqua 7000 Switching System to provide advanced voice services to its growing business and residential customer base in Illinois, Michigan and Ohio, Taqua Inc. said Tuesday.
Taqua said it is the 300th deployment of the system.
“We are now utilizing the T7000 as the workhorse for our voice services across our entire network,” said Thane Namy of Clear Rate Communications.
The T7000 scales from 40 to 40,000 subscribers in a single 17-inch by 24-inch shelf, enabling carriers to pay as they grow and provide profitable voice services upon initial deployment. Taqua said the compact footprint and conservative resource requirements of the T7000 make it practical for installation in a variety of locations including collocation spaces, MTUs or any site with a controlled environment.
The T7000 has been shipping since 2000 and can support a variety of protocols including SS7, SIP, MGCP, GR-303, CAS, NCS, PRI and others over line, trunk or IP interfaces. Taqua Inc. www.taqua.com Clear Rate Communications www.clearrate.com
