EMBARQ Unveils Smart IP Bundle

EMBARQ has unveiled its Smart IP Bundle, the first of a new product line called EMBARQ Smart Business, which is designed to make businesses more productive by simplifying their communications and IT needs.

With the EMBARQ Smart IP Bundle offers high-speed internet access, local and long-distance voice service and IP enabled features. These features include a simultaneous ring to wireline and wireless phones, auto attendant, network administrator and end-user management capabilities through Web-based administration tools. It also is a key system, offering multiple lines that are expandable. The customer can use their existing LAN.

The EMBARQ Smart IP Bundle is available in Wake Forest, Fayetteville, Greenville, Hickory and Rocky Mount, in North Carolina, and in Orlando, Ft. Myers and Naples, Fla. The product will be made available in other EMBARQ markets throughout the rest of this year and 2008.

The EMBARQ Smart IP Bundle uses the Mitel 3600 Hosted Key System.
