ThinkEngine Unveils Updated Conferencing Software

ThinkEngine Networks Inc. said Tuesday Release 3.0 of its conferencing software is generally available.

Enhancements to the software include the ability to create a set of conferencing capabilities that can be assigned to subscribers; to block certain numbers from dialing into the service; and to emulate other competitors’ call flows.

The software’s operator assistance and operator user interface also allows the service provider to meet customer needs during the conference call. The operator console is Windows-based and operators can manage one or multiple conferencing bridges and are alerted when customers need help.

Separate views show queues for conference entry, conference help requests, and all active conferences on the bridge. Operators are able to fully control the conference including mute, room mode, dial out, chime control and conference locks. Additionally, operators can move participants between conferences, monitor lines and listen in on conferences.
