NewStep, HelloSoft Provide FMC Solutions for Various Handset Devices

NewStep Networks Inc. and VoIP provider HelloSoft Inc. have completed interoperability testing to enable FMC solutions on a variety of dual-mode and multimode handset devices.

The NewStep CSN platform has been tested with HelloSoft’s VoIP software client and is now available on HTC Dopod, the QTEK S200 and Samsung SPH M4500 handsets, according to NewStep. Support also will be provided for upcoming Sony Ericsson handsets.
