AppTrigger Platform Part of Intervoice Effort

AppTrigger Inc. has sold its Application Session Controller software platform to a large mobile network service provider in the United Kingdom as part of the Intervoice Media Exchange next-generation messaging solution, the company said.

Intervoice will use Application Session Controller to manage the evolving network layer for a large-scale wireless service provider, AppTrigger said, enabling the delivery of voice messages from both the legacy and next-generation networks for up to 20 million subscribers. The U.K. service provider chose the combined Intervoice/AppTrigger solution to ensure seamless migration, ease of management and to provide a scalable long-term solution, the companies said.

Intervoice has resold combined Intervoice-AppTrigger platforms, including the one sold to the mobile network service provider, for three years. AppTrigger provides network connectivity between TDM and IP networks critical to large scale mobile service providers, it said.
