Telcordia Taps mPortal to Enhance MVNO Platform

Telcordia Technologies will use mPortal Inc.’s SPRINGBOARD Content Delivery Manager (CDM) and SPRINGBOARD Content Catalog to enhance its hosted platform for MVNOs. The companies said the partnership will provide a one-stop source for mobile content services.

Telcordia will offer MVNOs more than 25,000 ringtones, wallpapers, games and real-time news feeds. Telcordia MVNO customers can also now provide a handset client with SPRINGBOARD Smart Client.

Telcordia’s hosted platform offers prepaid and postpaid wireless services without having to own or manage a network. The company has signed more than 13 customers since launching its MVNO platform in 2005.
