DCA, BillSoft Announce Taxation Services

Billing and OSS service provider DCA Services and its partner BillSoft Inc., which provides back-office services and convergent billing, on Tuesday announced they are working together to provide taxation services to the wireless industry.

DCA is an Oklahoma-based Platinum Equity company that offers BillAdvantage, a billing services suite with integrated modules that support all aspects of telecommunications operations including subscriber acquisition, provisioning, call center and Web-based customer care, electronic and paper billing, and financial management with decision support tools.

BillSoft provides taxation for wireless and tax solutions for long-distance, local, international, cable and satellite television and communications, product sales and use, prepaid/debit/calling card services, shipping, data services, enhanced services, Internet usage, fax transmission, voice mail, paging and VoIP.

“Accurate tax information is critical to risk management in wireless telecommunication billing,” said Vickie Huang, chief financial officer for DCA. “Together, DCA and BillSoft are committed to taxing with accuracy and reducing liability for the wireless industry.”
