Indiana Co-Op Offers Triple-Play Services with Pannaway Platform

Indiana’s Tele-Media Solutions, formerly known as Washington County Rural Telephone Cooperative, is using Pannaway Technologies Inc.’s Service Convergence Network platform to deliver triple-play services to residents in Clark, Floyd, Scott and Washington Counties.

Tele-Media Solutions is one of eight telephone cooperatives and 35 independent telephone companies in the Hoosier State that has delivered telephone and Internet services since 1952.

Tele-Media Solutions executives said on Tuesday the Pannaway platform allows the provider to reach even its most remote, rural subscribers.

“We’ll [also] have the ability to upgrade services and test copper lines remotely, which we anticipate will result in a 50 percent reduction in on-site technical visits,” said General Manager Charles Coon.
