Wheat State Uses Tekelec 7000 Switch
11/17/2005
Wheat State Telephone, a Kansas IOC, has deployed the Tekelec 7000 Class 5 Packet Switch so it can roll out VoIP and triple-play services using its existing network. The Tekelec 7000 also keeps Wheat State in compliance with regulatory requirements for LNP and CALEA. “Tekelec was the best choice to guide our migration to VoIP," says Archie Macias, general manager of Wheat State Telephone. The switch “allows us to economically deploy next-generation, triple-play services and realize additional revenues with minimal impact to our network investments."
