Aktino Receives TL 9000 Certification

Aktino said today it has received TL 9000 certification from the Quality of Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications (QuEST) Forum, a partnership of service providers and suppliers.

Aktino equipment helps providers deliver broadband services over existing copper loops. The company now is among a small group of telecommunications companies that meets the standards for TL 9000 registration, which is becoming a prerequisite to supplying telecommunication equipment to service providers worldwide.

The TL 9000 standard – a superset of the International Standards Organization's ISO 9001:2000 quality standard – was developed by the QuEST forum to provide a common set of quality management and performance requirements for industry suppliers.

A number of global service providers require equipment vendors to be TL 9000 certified.
