Verizon, Alltel Customers Exchange Multimedia Messages

Verizon Wireless and Alltel now have an intercarrier Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) agreement that allows picture and video messaging customers to exchange multimedia messages from their wireless camera phones.

Verizon Wireless customers now can exchange multimedia messages with customers of Alltel, Cingular Wireless, Leap Wireless, Sprint and U.S. Cellular.

Alltel customers now can exchange multimedia messages with Verizon Wireless and Cingular Wireless customers.

Mobile 365 is providing the interoperability service for Verizon Wireless customers.
